March 28, 20254 min read

Are you ready to grow a business that aligns with your faith and family—all from home?
You may have already read the blogs, listened to the podcasts, stalked a few inspirational Instagram moms, and still find yourself wondering if it’s truly possible to do it all.

Friend, I’ve been there.

What I want to share with you today isn’t just a list of to-dos. It’s a real-life look at what it actually takes to build a thriving, sustainable business while homeschooling your kids—and doing it without losing yourself in the process.

A lot of people still believe you have to choose between being a great mom and a successful business owner. But here’s the truth: you don’t have to choose.

If you’ve been feeling stretched thin trying to build your business while managing homeschool routines, this post is for you. Let’s take a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into making this beautiful, messy, purpose-driven life work.

Break Free from Limiting Beliefs Holding Back Your Faith-Driven Business

If you’ve caught yourself thinking,
“I’m just a stay-at-home mom, I can’t run a real business,”
then friend, it’s time to shut that lie down.

Ask yourself:

  • Who told me this?

  • Who benefits from me staying stuck?

  • Is it even true?

Spoiler alert: it’s not.
You can build a business. You can homeschool your children. And you can do it in a way that aligns with your values and capacity.

My Daily Routine for Faith-Based Business Growth as a Homeschooling Entrepreneur

I’m proud of the life I’ve built—and trust me, it hasn’t happened by accident.
Routine is a huge part of what helps me stay grounded and focused.

Here’s a peek into my day:

🌞 Morning:
I wake up before the kids (most days 😅), spend time in the Word, and plan out our homeschool day with a warm cup of coffee.

🕛 Midday:
After lessons, I block out 1-2 hours for business tasks—content creation, client calls, email marketing—whatever’s on deck that day.

🌙 Evening:
Evenings are family time. I unplug. I recharge. And I let the work rest.

🗓️ Don’t be afraid to customize your routine. If something isn’t working, it’s okay to pivot. Give yourself permission to test, adjust, and simplify. Your routine should serve you, not stress you out.

Wisdom from Christian Women Business Coaches Who've Walked the Path

I love getting advice from women who are walking the walk. One of my favorite mentors online, Amy Porterfield, says:
“The road to lasting success is built one small, consistent step at a time.”

And she’s right.
Consistency beats intensity. Especially when you’re raising kids, running a home, and growing a business.

💡 Check out her podcast for more faith-filled entrepreneurial wisdom. Listen to her podcast about the crucial lesson she's STILL learning after 15 years in business!

🚫 Oh, and never take business advice from people who aren’t building what you’re building.
Your auntie may mean well when she says, “Isn’t it time to go back to a ‘real’ job?”, but she’s not living your mission. Stick with the voices that get it.

Why Grit and Strategy Matter in Digital Marketing for Christian Mompreneurs

Just because you don’t have a marketing degree, a huge following, or unlimited time doesn’t mean you can’t succeed.

But you do need a growth mindset—and a little bit of grit.

Here’s how to start building that foundation:

Step 1: Identify the skills you need.

Want to grow your email list? You may need to learn lead magnet strategy.
Want to land clients? You may need help with messaging and offers.

Step 2: Learn the skills.

Choose one focus at a time. Read a book. Take a course. Ask a coach.
You don’t have to learn everything, just the next thing.

Step 3: Practice with purpose.

Set aside small blocks of time to work on your business. Create. Publish. Engage.
Progress > Perfection. Always.
